When buying a puppy from a breeder you deserve to get the very best. Thats why Black Tie Kennels strives to produce the healthiest, happiest puppies possible. All of our dogs and bitches have been screened for genetic health problems including Hip Displaysia, and PRA. We take our responsibility to the puppies we produce very seriously. -We strive to make sure puppies are placed in only the best homes. This means that you as a puppy buyer must meet our criteria for puppy ownership. We ask for references from a veterinarian to assure that our puppies will receive the medical care all dogs need. We also do several interviews to see that you are the type of person who will mesh well with a Tibetan Spaniel. -BlackTie now request ALL new puppies placed to attend and graduate from a puppy and basic obedience class and to attempt the Canine Good Citizen Test before their second birthday. Untrained dogs are unsafe and at risk for accidents. We require you to be responsible and educate your new puppy for his/her own safety. -At no time do we allow a puppy owner to sell or transfer ownership to a third party. If for any reason you are unable to keep you puppy, at any time in it's life, we take it back and place it in a new home ourselves. We do this to insure that dogs we have bred do not get passed from one owner to another and possibly end up in unsuitable homes or worse in an animal shelter. -Black Tie kennels reserves the right to take back any puppy we believe is not being treated in a humane manner. We do not tolerate animal abuse and certainly will not allow one of our puppies to remain in an abusive home. Medical neglect is something else we do not tolerate. If we find that a puppy is not receiving the medical care he/she needs we may remove the puppy from your care. -Not every breeding program is perfect and sometimes unexpected things crop up. So far we have had no genetic health problems crop up in puppies we have bred. However, if a puppy is diagnosed with a genetic health issue such as hip, knee, or eye problems at any time in it;s life we will offer take the puppy back and refund the buyers money or replace the puppy. |
