sweetheart of Black Tie Kennels.
Born after a 20 minute struggle breach, dry,
and dead. Having worked very hard to deliver
this tiny puppy nobody was ready to accept
that she could not be saved and she was
revived. However, being too weak to nurse on
her own, Wonder had to be tube fed for several
days and watched over around the clock.
Nobody expected her to survive, not even our
veterinarian, but she proved she was special
and beat the odds. When the time came for the
puppies in the litter to go to new homes we
found it impossible to part with Wonder and
she now lives a happy, healthy life, here at
Black Tie, and has just turned a five years old.
Wonder worked with her owner/handler as a
demo dog at Petsmart of Destin where she
perfected many of her obedience skills and
became a very accomplished trick dog.
She attended her first dog show in March, '06
and won a three point major and Best of Breed
her first time out. She followed up that amazing
win with another four point major in Hattisburg
MS, all from the bred by class. We fully
expected her to achieve not only her
championship but multiple obedience titles as
well, and have plans to certify this incredible
puppy for therapy work in the future.
Wonder is such a part of our family that she
was on hand to walk me down the isle and give
me away at my wedding on November 11, 2007.
She didn't stop there. She then finished her
championship on November 17, 2007, (on our
honeymoon!!) at the Mobile Kennel Club dog
show under judge Charolete Patterson.
Wonder is currentky training to compete in
Rally-O in the near future.
